Trapping Buckets

Five-Gallon High-Grade Trapping Bucket

This set of three food-grade buckets come with lids to keep your trapping equipment in a waterproof location.

These polyethylene buckets have 90mm thick sides and can have many uses on the trap line. Some things you could use these buckets for is wax dirt or peat moss or to hold your trapping equipment.

Bucket Organizer for Trapping

This bucket organizer has inside and outside pockets for all your trapping equipment. There are also three loops on the inside of the organizer to hold hammers, drivers, or steaks.

It has 30 pockets for all the tools you will carry on the trapline. The organizer fits on buckets that are three to five-gallon buckets.

Exterior Bucket Organizer

The Milwaukee bucket organizer is handy because all pockets are on the outside of the bucket. This allows for full access to the inside of the bucket.

It also has a pocket for a trapping notebook or journal so that it always goes out with you on the trapline.

Seven-Gallon Trapping Bucket

This seven-gallon bucket comes with high sides which can be good for holding more traps or taller steak or tools.

This bucket can also withstand temperatures up to 190 degrees Farenheight.

Three and a Half Gallon Bucket

A bucket for your lures, bait, and urine will be good when you are out on the trapline. This will keep them separate from your traps and tools.

This small bucket may be a good place to store all of your attractants. Keeping bait and lure separate also will keep the strong smells also off you, which can be super stinky.

One-Gallon Traping Bucket

In some cases, it may be useful to have two buckets glued together, a small bucket and a larger bucket. You can put trapping tools in the big bucket and lures and baits in the small bucket.

This one-gallon bucket is a good size to attach to a larger five or seven-gallon bucket so that all your traping equipment stays together in the back of your truck.

Four Compartment Stackable Bucket Organizer

This bucket organizer fits nicely into most five-gallon buckets. For trappers, it might be nice in your bucket for holding all your bait, lure, or other small items you need on the trapline.

Bucket Strap

This strap can be helpful for carrying your trapping bucket a longer distance on the trapline.

Personally, I would not take the handle off the bucket and replace it with the strap but it might be nice to have in addition to having a handle.

Using Trapping Buckets

A trapping bucket can be useful when you are working on setting a lot of traps. Some people like to glue or tape a couple of buckets together, one for bait and the other for traps and tools.

Buckets can be better than trapping bags because they are always open at the top and don’t close. You can also get a bucket organizer that will have similar pockets that a bag would have and then you get the best of both a bucket and a bag.

Trapping buckets can be better than pack baskets for trapping because they are cheaper and in some cases be more durable. You can also buy backpack straps for a bucket and get a similar use out of the bucket.

Venture Bucket Pack for Trapping

This bucket is built for packing. It can be used for hunting, trapping, or fishing.

It comes with a padded lid for a place to sit on the bucket. The straps are padded and the pockets can hold lots of equipment including a water bottle, bait, and other tools.
